A Smoke Machine and A Swimming Pool: A Love Story

Earlier this week, I got together with the most excellent Chris Scott, lowlight photographer extraordinaire, to get some new snaps of my latest laser sculptures. We decided to use a swimming pool, interested to see the effect of the the reflections with the smoke and light from the pieces.

The results don’t show much of the aquatic background, but it was inspiring to have the water there, lapping gently as we tried to get the best shots. It might well form the basis of future shoots…

Vague help from some woman  (Siân Bevan), with special guest appearance from Squiggle, the artist’s soon-to-be wee one.

I’ll upload more of the photos into the gallery soon. Massive thanks to Chris, Felicity and our able assistant Ryan Cramb.
